Privacy Policy

1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy

Welcome to Seedling.io (“Seedling,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are an AI-powered growth operating system built for creators, agencies, and teams who want to move faster and scale smarter. This Privacy Policy provides a detailed explanation of how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you access our platform, including our intelligent agents, social features, private workspaces, and development tools (collectively, the “Services”). Our mission is to give every builder the firepower of a 12-person growth squad. That mission is built on a foundation of trust. We believe privacy and security are not features, but prerequisites for creativity and growth. This policy is written to give you a clear, honest, and granular understanding of how your data is handled, so you can imagine, build, launch, and adapt with complete confidence. This document is designed for our users: the solo creator launching a dream, the agency managing sensitive client campaigns, and the enterprise team building proprietary applications. We want you to understand not just what data we collect, but how it is used to power the intelligent, adaptive experience that makes Seedling unique.

2. A Service-by-Service Guide to Your Data

A. The Core AI Agents: Seeder, Clara, & Annie

Our intelligent agents are the heart of your growth engine. They process your inputs to deliver specific, in-context outputs, and their data handling is designed for security and relevance.

Seeder (Your AI Strategist):
When you interact with Seeder, you provide strategic inputs, business goals, and campaign details. Seeder processes this information transactionally to generate campaign plans, tasks, and recommendations. To provide a personalized experience, Seeder maintains a “memory” of your past campaigns within your private workspace. This memory is stored in a dedicated Firestore log associated exclusively with your account and is used solely to improve the quality of Seeder’s future suggestions for you. It allows Seeder to avoid repetition, surface past wins, and adapt its tone to your brand.

Clara (Your Creative Director):
When you give Clara a text prompt or upload an image, she processes that input to generate new visual assets. The images and videos created are your content; we do not claim any ownership over them. Clara’s context-awareness is powered by reading the strategic plan from Seeder within a specific campaign, ensuring the generated visuals align with your goals. This data flow is temporary and exists only to fulfill the generation request.

Annie (Your AI Analyst):
Annie processes activity data to generate sentiment scores, engagement metrics, and performance insights. In your private GrowthOS and TeamProjects, these insights are confidential and visible only to you and your approved team members. In VerdantCRM, Annie’s Prospecting and Enrichment features use your queries to interact with third-party data partners, retrieving business contact information to augment your profiles. We do not store the raw results from these partners long-term; we only store the data you choose to save to a contact.

The Bobs (Your Autonomous Development Team):

The Bobs are a team of specialized agents that operate within Bob's Workshop. Each Bob (e.g., Schema Bob, UX Director Bob, QA Director Bob) performs a specific function in the software development lifecycle. They process your application requirements for the sole purpose of architecting, generating, and assembling your application's codebase. This processing is transactional and designed to protect your intellectual property.

B. Public Collaboration: Seedling Social & Communities

This is the public square of Seedling, designed for open discussion and collaboration. Any content you share here is considered public by design.

Wall Posts and Public Content:
When you create a Wall Post in a Community, share a comment, or react to content, that information is visible to anyone on the platform. This public activity is the fuel for our community-driven features, including the Top Voices system, which rewards insightful comments, and the Seederboard, which tracks user contributions via the Sprout Score system.

Private Projects with a Public Anchor:
You may choose to attach a private SeedlingProject to a public Wall Post. In this case, only the post itself remains public. The project’s internal timeline, tasks, and discussions are secure and accessible only to collaborators you explicitly approve via the “Request to Collaborate” function. This hybrid model allows for public discovery while maintaining private, controlled execution.

C. Private Execution: GrowthOS & TeamProjects

This is your secure, internal operating system, built for teams and agencies where confidentiality is paramount.

Strict Data Segregation:
All data within your organization’s GrowthOS and TeamProjects—including project timelines, tasks, internal discussions, uploaded client assets, and performance metrics—is considered confidential. For agencies using Workspaces to manage multiple clients, each client’s data is logically segregated to prevent any unauthorized access or data leakage between projects.

Secure AI Processing:
Within this private context, Seeder, Clara, and Annie operate with the same commitment to confidentiality. Insights generated by Annie, strategies built by Seeder, and visuals created by Clara are contained within that specific project and are not shared outside your approved team or used for any other purpose.

D. Sales & Growth: VerdantCRM

This is your AI-native CRM. We recognize this service handles sensitive business and personal information, and we treat it with the highest level of care.

You Are the Data Controller:
When you upload prospect lists or manage contacts within VerdantCRM, you are the “Data Controller” for that information. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right and necessary permissions to process that data. We act as the “Data Processor” on your behalf.

Data Enrichment Flow:
When you use Annie Prospecting, we send non-personally identifiable query information (like a company domain or job title) to our third-party data partners. The enriched data returned (like a verified email or phone number) is presented to you, and only the data points you choose to save become part of your CRM record.

Organizational Memory:
Seeder uses the context from your VerdantCRM accounts to build tailored sales campaigns. When a campaign is finalized, key strategic data (like successful messaging angles or outreach cadences) is pushed into your organization’s long-term memory. This allows Seeder to provide more effective, context-aware advice over time, but this memory is siloed to your organization and is never shared.

E. Application Development: Bob’s Workshop & The Bobs

This is your autonomous development environment where your intellectual property is created. We have designed this service with IP protection as a core principle.

Your Code is Your IP:
The applications you build in Bob’s Workshop, including all generated Dart code and related assets, are your intellectual property. We do not and will not claim any ownership rights over your creations. The output of the Workshop is yours to export as a ZIP, upload to Greenhouse, or use in any way you see fit.

Transactional Agent Processing:
Each Bob agent—from Schema Bob and the UX Director Bob to the QA Director Bob—is a specialized AI designed for a specific function. They process your application requirements for one purpose only: to architect, generate, and assemble your application’s codebase in a structured pipeline. This processing is transactional; the agents “clock in” to perform their task and “clock out.” The data from one stage is passed to the next, but it is not used for any other purpose.

Secure Integrations:
When you connect your GitHub account for collaboration, we use standard OAuth protocols and only request the minimum permissions necessary to sync code and fulfill your commands. We do not store your repository data beyond what is needed for the active development session.

3. How We Use and Share Information

Beyond the service-specific uses detailed above, we use and share your information in the following ways:

To Operate and Improve the Platform:
We use aggregated and anonymized usage data to understand which features are most valuable, identify bugs, and improve the stability and performance of the Services.

To Process Transactions and Manage Your Account:
We use your account information to communicate about service updates, security alerts, and support requests. All financial transactions are handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card information.

Sharing with Service Providers:
We partner with trusted third parties including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AI model providers, and data enrichment partners. These partners are contractually bound to process data only to deliver their services.

For Legal Compliance and Safety:
We may disclose information where required to comply with legal obligations, protect safety, prevent fraud, or protect our rights.

Your Rights and Our Core Commitments

Data Access, Correction & Deletion: You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal information at any time.

Data Retention: We retain data only as long as your account remains active, except for limited anonymized records required for compliance.

Our Unbreakable Commitment on AI Model Training: Your Data is Not Our Product.
We do not use private user-generated content—including GrowthOS, VerdantCRM, or Bob’s Workshop data—to train general-purpose AI models. Any future training programs will be strictly opt-in.
